About the Black Bear Lacrosse Program

Our Staff

	Jon Heisman is a devoted student and teacher of the game of lacrosse. In his playing days, Jon was selected as an All-American defenseman and was captain of the Ithaca College Bombers for three years. Jon was also a two-time, first team ECAC selection. As the former Head Coach of Springfield High School, Jon led the Cougars to a State Championship title and State runner up three times. Under Jon’s leadership the Cougars made six final four appearances. Jon went on to coach at West Chester East for six years and is currently the Head coach at Bishop Shanahan. As a head coach, Jon now boasts well over 300 wins.

	Debbie White has been involved in the sport of lacrosse as a player and coach for over 25 years. A college All American, Debbie was the captain and leading scorer for West Chester University. Debbie had the honor of being selected to play for the United States women’s lacrosse team. Debbie is currently the Athletic Director and Head Coach at The William Penn Charter School where she consistently has one of the top teams in a very competitive league.
